Job Description:

Forme Medical Center, is currently seeking for a Physician Assistant with experience in Orthopedia, who is passionate, committed and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidates are skilled in their ability to work independently, setting evaluating and treating a broad range of patients; prescribing medications and treatments, ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, EKGs and lab work, diagnosing and treating chronic and acute conditions as well as assisting other medical workers as necessary. Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred.


Requires degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus two years of experience

  • Prior PA Ortho Health experience is required
  • Current New York State NP and RN license
  • BCLS, DEA, NPI certifications
  • National Board Certification required
  • Certified Physician Assistant
  • Must have a high degree of professionalism in all communications
  • Highly organized with experience in managing complex schedules
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Understanding that the patient is our highest priority
  • Participation in the medical surveillance program
  • Contact with patients and/or human research subjects
  • Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements

Other Qualifications: Fluent Bilingual (English/Spanish)


The Physician Assistant for Orthopedia will work with female patients ranging from adolescence into advanced age

– Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions and injuries- Provide acute pain management for patients- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to determine the extent of injuries or conditions- Monitor and interpret vital signs of patients- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans- Stay up-to-date with medical advancements and standards in orthopedics

– The PA will assess patients and collaborate with the physicians to implement the appropriate treatment

– Accurately and clearly updates and records changes in health status in EMR

– Make appropriate referrals to other health professionals and community agencies among others

Job Type:

  • Hourly Rate: $80/hour
  • Experience: 2 years minimum
  • Work independently
  • Schedule: 10 to 15 hours a week
