Physician Assistants at NYP:

A Growing, Autonomous Team

Physician Assistant – Laparoscopic, Bariatric and Complex Hernia Repair Surgery Service – Days – Columbia Campus
Experience autonomy and camaraderie unique to our Physician Assistant team. Practice the art and science of evidence-based medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. As a Laparoscopic Surgery PA, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of residents and surgeons covering this busy surgical service. There are opportunities to grow, teach, and have significant autonomy. The position primarily consists of post-operative management of patients on the step down unit and floor.
This role requires 4 day shifts per week (6am-4pm), including rotating weekend coverage (No nights or holidays).
Preferred Criteria

  • Background in Surgery and/or Medicine
  • At least 1 year of experience
  • Strong new graduates with a demonstrated passion for surgery are also encouraged to apply
Required Criteria
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies
  • NYS licensure and NCCPA certification

Salary Range:

$147,000-$186,000/Annual
