We are currently seeking to recruit a per diem Physician Assistant to work in our Department of Surgery. We focus on providing high quality patient care to a diverse and underserved patient population.
The hours of coverage for this position are flexible.
  • Under the supervision of Surgeons and in collaboration of Surgical Residents and PAs, Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Perform minor surgical procedures including suture of lacerations, I&D of Abscesses, excision of cystic lesions, etc.
  • OR experience is available for those who are interested.


  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • NYS License Required
  • NCCPA Certification Required
  • Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population
  • Must have proven ability to work in a team environment

  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination required prior to hire
  • Salary :$85/hr
