Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking to recruit a per diem Physician Assistant to work in our Department of Surgery. We focus on providing high quality patient care to a diverse and underserved patient population.
The hours of coverage for this position are flexible.
Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of Surgeons and in collaboration of Surgical Residents and PAs, Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Perform minor surgical procedures including suture of lacerations, I&D of Abscesses, excision of cystic lesions, etc.
- OR experience is available for those who are interested.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program
- BLS/ACLS certification
- NYS License Required
- NCCPA Certification Required
- Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population
- Must have proven ability to work in a team environment

- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination required prior to hire
- Salary :$85/hr
