Job SummaryJoin our dynamic healthcare team as a Part-Time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, where your expertise will directly impact patient care across diverse clinical settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing management for a wide range of medical conditions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while utilizing your skills in acute and chronic disease management, hospital medicine, and outpatient services. What You’ll Do

  • Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements
  • Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
  • Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
  • Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development
  • Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
  • Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
  • Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
  • Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
  • Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

  • Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice
  • Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable)
  • Current NCCPA national certification required
  • Degree from ARC-PA accredited program
  • Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
  • MUST have schedule flexibility to work in our various Nursing home locations including available to work on Saturdays
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities

Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services

At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant
