Full Job Description
A reputable health system in central North Carolina is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This is a full-time, outpatient opportunity offering a supportive, team-based environment and strong mentorship.
Job Function:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care for patients ages 0–18
- Manage a mix of sick visits, well-child exams, and follow-up care
- Deliver preventive, acute, and chronic care services
- Maintain an average patient volume of ~18 patients per day
- Participate in a rotating weekly phone-only call schedule (no inpatient responsibilities)
- Collaborate with experienced clinical staff across both clinic locations
- Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Eligible for North Carolina licensure
- Pediatric or relevant outpatient experience preferred
- Strong commitment to community-based, relationship-driven care
- Comfortable managing a steady outpatient patient volume
