PAs in Missouri are licensed by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts. Missouri has joined the PA Licensure Compact, which will let PAs licensed in another member state practice here with a compact privilege; privileges are expected to open in early 2027. To prescribe controlled substances in Missouri, a PA also needs a Missouri Controlled Substance Registration (BNDD) from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (BNDD), on top of DEA registration.

Location: Kansas City, Missouri Start Date: July 2026 Monthly Coverage: 20 shifts per month Schedule & Setting 12-hour shifts (6a 6p, 6p 6a) Blocks of 3 5 consecutive shifts Priority on night and weekend coverage Ideally 3 nights consecutively with at least one on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday Licensure Requirements: APRN/PA Candidates must hold both Missouri and Kansas Licenses
