Physician Assistant (PA) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Full-Time/Part-Time Outpatient Setting

Description

We are looking for experienced and licensed Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to provide exceptional care in our outpatient setting. The ideal candidates will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, as well as collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive healthcare services.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and obtain detailed medical histories.
  • Diagnose and develop treatment plans for acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Perform routine and complex procedures as required.
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with Michigan state laws and regulations.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Must be a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of Michigan.
  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing.
  • Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for PAs or certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) for NPs.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary

$100,000 – $115,000 per year
