Summary
We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Great Lakes Medicine. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality medical care to patients in facility settings, contributing to their overall health and well-being.
Positions include a full-time 7 on/7 off schedule at McLaren Macomb or full-time Monday-Friday position at Henry Ford St John Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Assist physicians with patient management in hospital
- Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care for patients transitioning from the hospital.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes through coordinated care.
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and state licensure.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding and emergency medicine practices.
- Experience with discharge planning is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Must hold appropriate licensing, including state license and DEA.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
