Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant –

Position: Full-Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician’s Assistant, for our Boston IVF, Boston Urology practice located in Wellesley Hills, MA
Salary is commensurate with experience.
SUMMARY: FT Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join busy reproductive surgical specialty office practice caring for men and their partners.
Work in collaboration with physicians and APPs to perform history and physical exams, order diagnostic testing, formulate care plan with clinical team, communicate with referring clinicians, perform patient education, and prescribe medication.
Epic trained preferred.
Graduate of an accredited American Medical Association-approved NP or PA training program. Must possess a current license and have all current certifications needed to practice in MA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONISBILITIES: Plans, evaluates and executes direct patient care. Supports the nursing and physician team in a manner which is consistent with the team concept and reflects the philosophy of Boston IVF.
Initial consultation and follow-up consultation
Urgent care exam and assessment
Physical examination
Prescription writing
Laboratory interpretation
Other clinical care duties as deemed appropriate
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have PA/NP degree from an accredited Physician Assistant/NP Program
Requires minimum of two years of experience preferable in reproductive health and/or reproductive endocrinology, Urology.
Appropriate state (MA) PA/NP licensure as well as board certification
CPR certification required
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Possesses the ability to make independent decisions
Must possess leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with personnel, family members and the general public
Flu Vaccination is a requirement of employment.
