Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive patient care in an Internal Medicine Primary Care Practice. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and manage treatments in accordance with state laws and collaborative practice agreements.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and data management.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals.
- Participate in diagnostic evaluations using laboratory testing, medical imaging, sonography, and specimen processing to support clinical decision-making.
- Provide telehealth consultations and triage services to ensure timely access to care while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards including HIPAA and DEA regulations for controlled substances.
- Skills
- Proven experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, patients with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs.
- Strong proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks; familiarity with ICD-9/10 coding and CPT coding is highly desirable.
- IV Administration will be a plus for Wellness hydration therapy
- Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis processes across internal medicine, Rheumatology, Family medicine
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients on treatment plans and health coaching strategies effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while adhering to legal standards like Workers’ Compensation law and HIPAA regulations.
- Experience in medical documentation accuracy for insurance claims or utilization review processes; familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/10) is advantageous.
- Demonstrated capacity for fast-paced environments requiring triage expertise and urgent care capabilities; experience working in hospital or outpatient clinics preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
