Hubbell Dermatology and Aesthetics is seeking a part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to immediately service an established base of medical dermatology patients. Located in beautiful Lafayette, Louisiana in a new state of the art facility, candidates should have a minimum of 2-5 years of medical dermatology experience with acne, rosacea and psoriasis and skin cancer checks. Aesthetic injectable experience preferred but not required. Given the current book of patients, the practice is offering an attractive base salary and benefits, with an additional incentive compensation plan to grow and meet these existing patients’ skin health needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assess patient health status including state of wellness, compliance with care plan, and determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Provide acute and chronic patient care including taking histories, monitoring therapies, giving injections and medications.
Document clinical information and care provided in patient record.
Demonstrate positive and effective verbal communication skills with patients, families, and coworkers.
Educate patients and families as appropriate.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
Knowledgeable and compliant of HIPAA privacy standards.
Demonstrate efficient management of time and resources.
Adhere to practice standards and PA code of ethics.
Utilize and conduct appropriate research for dermatology.
Attend and participate in required meetings.
Education: Graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program.
Experience: Minimum of one year experience as a Dermatology PA or NP
Current state PA or NP license.
Current CPR certification.
Job Type: Part-time 2 Days Per Week
