Full-Time Experienced Medical Assistant – Private ENT Practice

Kentuckiana ENT offers comprehensive medical and surgical treatment for disorders affecting the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. We have proudly served the Louisville Metro area for more than four decades and are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our professional and patient-focused team.

We are looking for a dependable, organized individual who enjoys working one on one with the physician in a fast-moving specialty environment.

Office Locations & Schedule:
Position includes working between two established clinic locations:

• Monday & Wednesday – Von Allmen (near Cabella’s)
• Tuesday, Thursday & Friday – Dutchman’s Parkway location

Hours:

• Monday & Tuesday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday and Friday flexible/shorter hours

Responsibilities Include:

• Work closely with physician during patient visits and office procedures
• Scheduling surgeries and test, including prior authorization
• Escort and prepare patients for examination and treatment
• Obtain patient histories and update pertinent information within EMR
• Ensure a positive and professional patient experience
• Communicate effectively with patients and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Utilize strong medical terminology and organizational skills throughout daily workflow

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of medical office experience preferred
• New graduates will be considered
• ENT, surgical, or specialty office experience preferred
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities
• Ability to anticipate provider needs and support clinic flow efficiently
• Comfortable working independently while supporting physician workflow
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance required
• Clean background check required

Pay:
$19.00 – $23.00 per hour

Expected Hours:
40–45 hours per week
