Assistant Professor – Northern Kentucky Campus Physician Assistant Program
Term of Employment:
- Full time, 12-month appointment
- Benefits available per University policy for full time faculty/staff
Minimum Position Requirements
- Masters level degree in Physician Assistant Studies Program.
- Current NCCPA Certification
- PA State Licensure
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of at least 2 years of prior experience in PA or medical education.
- Educational background in instruction and coordination of clinical diagnosis and physical assessment courses or coordination of biomedical science courses
Principal faculty position
- Teaching in both didactic and clinical phases of the program.
- Advising students in both didactic and clinical phases of the curriculum.
- Actively participating in student recruitment, admissions, and evaluation, remediation, and retention processes.
- Actively participating in accreditation process as assigned by the Program Director.
- Actively participating in course planning, development, delivery and review.
- Any additional duties assigned by the Program Director, or the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
