Full Job Description
Full-time Perioperative Registered Nurse in Wichita, KS, providing comprehensive pre‑, intra‑, and post‑operative care to surgical patients. You will support surgical teams, maintain sterile protocols, and educate patients and families. The role requires an active Kansas RN license and foundational nursing education.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative patient care

Prepare operating rooms and assist surgical teams with instruments and supplies

Monitor patients’ vital signs and responses during procedures

Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols

Administer medications and treatments as ordered

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals

Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery processes

Maintain accurate documentation in patient medical records
Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of Kansas

Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
Preferred Skills:

CNOR certification

Minimum of 1 year of perioperative nursing experience
