Full Job Description
Palm Health Resources is hiring for an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to join our amazing team in Kansas City! Incumbents will serve as a First Assist in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgeries, perform endoscopic vein harvesting, round in hospital pre- and post-surgery, and follow-up clinic visits. Schedule:
· We would be looking for every other week for call coverage minimum (7 days 5pm-7am) or work 4-5 days during the day in the OR and support 7 days of call during week on. 7 day 24 /hr call. Can work out flexible scheduling!
· 1 week on, 1 week off
Support:
· 2 cardiothoracic surgeons, 5 interventionalists, 8 Non-Invasive cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists, and 14 APPs.
Requirements:
· At least five years of experience post training
· Qualification for Kansas State License
· Diplomate of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
· Active BLS Certification
