Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners! Seeking full time coverage in Lexington, KY! Come explore the heart of horse country, and enjoy a lively downtown with a rich heritage, while providing top-tier cardiac care with a top tier healthcare team!
Start Date: February 2026
Assignment Length: 6 months to start (with potential to extend)
Duties include: First assisting endoscopic vein harvesting as well as CABG. Morning rounds typically between 5-10 ICU patients with faculty
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7a-5p; night call 5p-7a; Weekend call. Full time coverage needed.
Qualifications:
- Active APP Board Certification (NPs must have RNFA) – Required
- Active Kentucky State Licensure – Preferred, Not Required
- MUST be proficient in first assisting endoscopic vein harvesting and CABG
