Job Summary
The Physician Assistant (PA) assists high volume orthopedic sports medicine surgeon specializing in hip and knee injuries. with surgical and/or clinical responsibilities. The PA will assist with clinical responsibilities as well as first assist in the OR under the direction of the Orthopedic Surgeon.
Essential functions

- Obtains, compiles, and records patient medical data, health history, progress notes, and results of the examination
- Instructs and counsels patients about the prescribed therapeutic regimens
- Assists Orthopedic Surgeon during surgery or complicated medical procedures

Physical demands
- Must be able to lift at least 50+ lbs.
- Moving patients, lifting and helping patients with needs, lifting and moving heavy x-ray equipment, transporting patients
- Frequently on your feet standing and walking
Travel required
- Periodic travel to the Greenwood, Noblesville and Tipton clinic as needed
Preferred education and experience
- Masters of Physician Assistant Studies
- NCCPA Certification
- Familiarity with EMR systems, NextGen experience helpful but not required
