Full Job Description

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate Health, is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our extensive network in Western Massachusetts.

Position Highlights:

  • Join the Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine which consists of 6 physicians and 8 advanced practitioners at the first age-friendly health system in the U.S., as recognized by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
  • Our Inpatient Geriatrics program works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team that includes hospital medicine, social work, and case management at Baystate Medical Center, a 700+ bed academic medical center in Springfield, MA.
  • See a wide variety of cases and patient types on the inpatient consult service. Four ten-hour shifts per week, including one weekend day.

Qualifications: BC Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a minimum of 1 year APP practice experience, ideally in geriatrics or inpatient care. Strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning is essential for success.

Pay: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
