Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Family Practice* Full Time, Permanent position *

Candidates

  • We are ready to provide training for all new Graduates!!!
  • Training will consist of shadowing other providers and getting up to speed with your new career.
  • Training will be 1-2 months depending on the needs of the new grad.
  • DEA license will be taken care of by the facility and not required at the time of hire.

Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Contributes to physician’s effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; and implementing physician directives.
  • Assesses patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; and obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
  • Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies; interpreting test results.
  • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
  • Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens; giving normal growth and development information; discussing family planning; providing counseling on emotional problems of daily living; promoting wellness and health maintenance.
  • Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; and advising management on needed actions.
  • Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Develops health care team staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Skills/Qualifications: Health Promotion and Maintenance, Thoroughness, Clinical Skills, Informing Others, Medical Teamwork, Physiological Knowledge, Bedside Manner, Infection Control, Administering Medication, Pain Management, Self-Development

Compensation:

  • Salary: $110k – $125k – 1st year!
  • We provide excellent compensation ranging from $100k and above depending on experience for services provided to our patients.
  • This is an opening for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for ONE full-time position to float between 2 locations. This position does not require you to do rounds at the hospital or any nursing homes.
  • Bilingual -SPANISH SPEAKING a major PLUS

Patient Type:

  • Walk-ins from the community, all patient populations –
  • Family Practice/Clinic setting
  • Spanish speaking is a PLUS!

Weekly schedule:

  • M: 10a-7p T: 10a-6p W: 10a-6p Th: 10a-6p F: 9a-6p S: 9a-3p Sunday Closed
  • 5 days a week
  • 3 out of 4 Saturdays/month – if you work Saturday you will get another day off
