Full Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist and make a meaningful impact on student success through top-notch therapy services. This engaging opportunity asks for a skilled provider who can work with diverse student populations, including pediatrics, in both onsite and teletherapy settings for the 2024-2025 school year.

Ideal candidates will confidently handle evaluation, intervention, and documentation within a school-based team, and will be adaptable to an itinerant schedule. The caseload and assignment details are forthcoming, and administrative support and IEP training will be available to facilitate your transition.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Active state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY
  • Experience in school settings and/or pediatrics
  • Knowledge or willingness to provide teletherapy services
  • Proficiency in therapy documentation, IEP goal setting, and ongoing progress monitoring
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy aligned with IEPs
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop evidence-based treatment plans
  • Consult with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain student records and progress notes in compliance with district systems and requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and continue professional development as offered
  • Adapt to various school assignments and travel between sites as needed
