Sterling Urgent Care is an innovative organization that has the unique opportunity to provide optimal healthcare at a minimal cost to the patient. We are staffed by advanced practice providers that have the opportunity to practice largely on an independent basis. Our clinics are in a position to operate as primary care, urgent care, and occupational medicine. We are in need of intelligent, motivated, and independent providers that have the desire to maximize and expand their scope of practice.
Responsibilities
- Assess, order and interpret diagnostic tests, diagnose, and treat acute illness/injury.
- Treat common maladies in primary care such as depression, anxiety, type 2 diabetes, and HTN.
- Complete DOT and worker’s compensation exams.
- Maintain high medical practice standards and contribute to the training and development of the medical team.
- Facilitate patient transitions using in-house referral system
- Exemplify a positive attitude and professionalism toward patients and staff.
- Fulfill continuing education requirements for licensure maintenance.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited PA/NP program
- Board certification from NCCPA/AANPCB
- BLS certified
- Familiarity with EMR
- Urgent care, primary care, occupation medicine experience preferred
