Credentials
PAs in Idaho are licensed by the Idaho Board of Medicine. Idaho is not in the PA Licensure Compact, so a PA licensed elsewhere needs an Idaho license. To prescribe controlled substances in Idaho, a PA also needs a Practitioner Controlled Substance Registration from the Idaho Board of Pharmacy (Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses), on top of DEA registration.
