Full Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patience in a Wellness and Aesthetics settings, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to determine health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Provide ongoing patient care, including follow-up visits and management of chronic conditions.
- Administer medications and perform procedures such as dermal fillers, dermabrasion, and phlebotomy as needed.
- Utilize DME (Durable Medical Equipment) in patient care when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate medical records using ICD-9 coding for diagnoses.
- Collaborate with specialists for referrals and coordinate comprehensive care for patients requiring ICU or cardiac catheterization services.
- Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Skills
- Strong background in medical office operations and patient care practices.
- Proficient in administering medications and performing various medical procedures.
- Knowledge of DME usage in clinical settings.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation.
- Experience with dermal fillers, dermabrasion techniques, and phlebotomy is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in family medicine.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $60.00 – $80.00 per hour

- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
- PA-C (Preferred)
- Physician Assistant License (Preferred)
