Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our Medical / ICU team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in critical care medicine, demonstrating the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires the candidate to function with high level autonomy/independence and support which is essential for the treatment and management of critically ill patients.
Duties
- Performing medical evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and consultations for diverse critically ill patients
- Responding to, managing and delivering direct patient care as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Orders, performs, interprets and collects data using appropriate assessment techniques, relevant supporting diagnostic information and diagnostic procedures where indicated.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Preform procedures including but not limited to: Central and Arterial line placement
- Educate patients and their families on health management, recovery processes, and post-discharge care.
- Facilitates the patient’s transition between and within health care settings, such as admitting, transferring, and discharging patients.
- Ability to runs codes and manage emergency situations
Experience/Requirements
- Completion of Master’s or Doctorate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program from an accredited institution with a valid license to practice in the state of Florida.
- National Board Certification
- Experience in inpatient critical care setting is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation of diagnoses.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages, including toddlers.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed.
- Previous experience working in a hospital or similar healthcare environment is advantageous
- Active and unrestricted NPI and DEA

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $120,000.00 – $156,000.00 per year
