We are seeking an enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing service in an urgent care environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work well with patients, fellow team members, and the medical community all while remaining sensitive to the needs of the public. The Nurse Practitioner for our location will help provide medical services to patients in need as well as act as a liaison between our physicians and patients.
Responsibilities:
- Educate patients on how to self-treat a variety of minor ailments.
- Identify and treat a variety of minor ailments, such as colds, the flu, insect bites, bed sores, and cuts.
- Administer prescription drugs to patients that have been prescribed by a medical doctor.
- Provide follow-up care to patients that may have had surgery or been under observation for a lengthy period of time.
- Communicate with other health providers and legal professionals.
- Keep records on a variety of patients and their treatments.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 per week
