Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and management of neurology patients in an outpatient setting, delivering care with compassion, clinical judgment, and attention to detail.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary patient care.
Evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of neurological conditions, including headache disorders, epilepsy, neuropathy, movement disorders, cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, dizziness, and other general neurology concerns.
Educate patients and families about neurological conditions, diagnostic testing, treatment options, medication use, and preventive health strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with clinical, regulatory, and billing standards.
Participate in ongoing clinical learning and remain current with neurology practices and advancements.
Uphold HIPAA standards and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in Florida.
Current certification as a PA-C.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to patient education and compassionate care.
Collaborative team-player mindset with professionalism and reliability.
Previous experience in neurology, neurosurgery, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or another relevant specialty is highly valued but not required.
Newer graduates or motivated candidates with a strong interest in neurology are welcome to apply.
