Credentials
PAs in Delaware are licensed by the Delaware Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline. Delaware has joined the PA Licensure Compact, which will let PAs licensed in another member state practice here with a compact privilege; privileges are expected to open in early 2027. To prescribe controlled substances in Delaware, a PA also needs a Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) from the Delaware Division of Professional Regulation, Office of Controlled Substances, on top of DEA registration.

Palm Health Resources is hiring an experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant in Coastal Delaware! This is a full time, Permanent position with an outstanding QUALITY OF LIFE SCHEDULE! The candidate will work only 4 shifts per week, 2 12 hour shifts and 2 8 hour shifts! On Call is only 1 shift per weekday and one weekend per month! This is a full continuum of care role Operating in Heart Surgery, Caring for Critical Care Cardiac Cases, Pre/Post Operative Care. Its a nice well rounded role with a smaller to midsize group. The case load is 80% Cardiac Surgery and 20% Thoracic Surgery. Lets not forget about the compensation! 150K-230K base salary and the On Call Pay is awesome $350 per on call day!
