Creekside Physical Medicine is looking for a Physician Assistant for our Boulder, Colorado Migraine clinic.

Our outstanding Migraine care clinic is looking to add a Physician Assistant to our dynamic provider makeup. Under the supervision of a skilled and knowledgeable DO, you will spend your time treating diverse Migraine patients in the clinic.

The ideal candidate will provide patient care in a competent, professional, and courteous manner, and will maintain effective communication with patients, staff, and the community. You will practice in close collaboration with our supervising physician, physician assistants, and physical therapists within the practice. In addition, you will provide medical care based on the scope of practice as delineated by the supervising physician. Individuals who are self-motivated, hardworking, detail-oriented, flexible, and adhere to clinical protocols are encouraged to apply. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Perform ongoing consultation and guiding treatment plans for migraine patients.
  • Manage patients during office procedures such as nerve blocks, abortive medications, chemodenervation, and migraine medication assessment and management.
  • Work in collaboration with our physical therapy team.
  • Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans for patients with migraine disorders, in collaboration with the supervising physician.
  • Manage acute and chronic issues related to patients’ needs with in the scope of migraine.
  • Evaluate and implement appropriate intervention.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and other diagnostic tests to assess patient problems and ongoing needs.
  • Complete thorough and accurate documentationpromptlyr.
  • Maintain appropriate records detailing the patient’s treatment plans and outcomes as well as billing and encounter note management.

QUALIFICATIONSPA is a graduate of an accredited training program and is a licensed, certified, non-physician healthcare provider who actively renders direct patient care and possesses delegated prescriptive authority. The PA is credentialed and privileged, and their services are billed, as recognized within the healthcare system, and by the appropriate certifying board.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate of an accredited PA – Physician Assistant program
  • Migraine care experience not required.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION

  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Unrestricted Physician Assistant (PA) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Colorado (DORA) Medical Licensure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,300.00 – $100,000.00 per year
