Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing RN Instructor will assume responsibility and accountability for instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, evaluation of student and course outcomes, and planning, implementing and evaluating curriculum content in the LVN Program. The class time is from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university which includes course work in nursing, education or administration
- Current California RN license as a registered professional nurse in good standing.
- 3 year continuous full-time, or its equivalent, experience providing direct patient care within the last 5 years; or 1 academic year of RN level clinical teaching experience in the pediatric its equivalent that demonstrates clinical competency within the last 5 years.
