Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) – NeuroSurgery Inpatient
Location: San Francisco, CA
Contract Length: 20 Weeks
Seeking an experienced NP or PA to support a high-volume inpatient spine surgery service at an academic medical center. This role focuses on post-operative patient management, discharge planning, care coordination, and inpatient follow-up care.
No OR time, new consults, or call responsibilities.
Schedule:
- 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
- Bi-weekly Saturday 8-hour shift (2 per month)
Responsibilities:
- Manage pre- and post-operative spine surgery patients
- Support a busy inpatient spine service
Requirements:
- Recent experience managing spine surgery patients required
- Experience with complex spine cases strongly preferred
- California license required for NPs; PAs needing licensure will be considered
