Full Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC or CFY) and experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants seeking a dynamic campus near Manhattan Beach, CA. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid California licensure or eligibility as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
  • Prior school-based experience, especially with K-12 populations
  • Strong background in pediatric speech-language therapy
  • Ability to consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents
  • Skilled in assessments, therapy, documentation, and IEP participation
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across age groups and settings

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs
  • Conduct comprehensive speech/language and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Document student progress, prepare reports, and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Engage with families and caregivers to equip them with strategies for at-home reinforcement
  • Support an inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and student success
