Job Title: Family Medicine Physician Assistant
Location: Hawthorne, CA
Setting: Outpatient Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
Term: Full Time | Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
Compensation: $80-85/hour
Astrya Global, a San Diego–based medical staffing agency, is looking for a Physician Assistant for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center in Hawthorne, CA. This role focuses on providing primary and preventative care to underserved and uninsured populations in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Qualifications of a Family Medicine Physician Assistant:
- Active California Physician Assistant license
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Strong commitment to serving underserved patient populations
- Prior primary care or outpatient experience preferred
- CA DEA Certification
- PA Board Certificate
- Controlled Substance Certification
Duties/Responsibilities of a Family Medicine Physician Assistant:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient setting
- Manage a patient load of approximately 20–22 patients per day
- Perform routine check-ups, preventative care, and chronic disease management
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including physicians, specialists, and behavioral health providers
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Deliver culturally competent, patient-centered care
