As an Adult Care PA, you will play a critical role in assessing and managing patient conditions, collaborating with our healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes. Your expertise will be vital in delivering exceptional medical services while fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff

We are launching an innovative pilot program aimed at managing post-hospital discharge patients through a hybrid model that integrates in-person consultations, virtual visits, and telehealth services. The client is in search of a Physician Assistant (PA) who is enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic program with significant long-term prospects.

  • Outpatient care model with no on-call responsibilities
  • A balanced approach to patient care, encompassing both clinic-based and virtual environments
  • Initial assignment of 6 months, with potential for extension based on program needs and performance

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments for adult patients
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to optimize patient care
  • Supervise and support nursing staff in daily operations
  • Provide education and counseling for patients and families
  • Document patient interactions accurately and timely in medical records
  • Participate in continuous education and training programs
  • Assist in managing chronic diseases and acute conditions

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Physician Assistant studies
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
