About the Practice

Glendale Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C. is an independent, physician-owned OB/GYN practice serving the West Valley of Phoenix. We provide comprehensive obstetric, gynecologic, and women’s wellness care in a warm, patient-centered environment, supported by a dedicated clinical and administrative team and modern practice technology.

Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) to join our outpatient team, providing well-woman care, GYN problem visits, prenatal care, and collaborative management alongside our physician and advanced practice colleagues. This is an office-based role with no inpatient labor and delivery call requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Perform annual well-woman exams, contraceptive counseling, and preventive screenings.
  • Evaluate and manage routine GYN complaints, including PMOS (formerly known as PCOS), abnormal bleeding, and menopause-related concerns.
  • Provide routine prenatal visits in coordination with the practice’s physician and midwifery team.
  • Perform in-office procedures within scope, such as IUD placement/removal, endometrial biopsy, operative hysteroscopes, and colposcopy (training/credentialing supported as needed).
  • Collaborate closely with Dr. Diana Heard (CMO) and the broader clinical team on complex or high-risk cases.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation within ModMed EMR.

Qualifications

  • Active board certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC).
  • Current or eligible Arizona APRN license, with prescriptive authority.
  • Current or eligible DEA registration.
  • New graduates with strong clinical rotations in women’s health are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for women’s health across the lifespan.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
