Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Surgical Assist (Vascular)

Position Overview
AZ Vascular & Thoracic Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to assist in the operating room for vascular and thoracic surgical procedures. This is a part-time opportunity with potential for increased hours based on caseload.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeon during operative procedures in the OR
- Provide perioperative patient care, including pre- and post-operative support
· Provide support for hospital consultations, rounding, and follow-up care of inpatients
- Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Active Arizona PA or NP license with 1st Assist Certification (required)
- Current DEA registration (required)
- ACLS and BLS
- Prior operating room experience preferred
- Vascular surgery experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced OR environment
Schedule
- Part-time to start
- Flexible scheduling based on surgical caseload
Compensation
- Salary commensurate with experience
Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
