Medical Cannabis Physician (MD/DO) – Alabama | Part-Time
The Green Remedy is a leading medical cannabis clinic expanding into Alabama. We are seeking compassionate MDs or DOs who believe in medical cannabis as an alternative treatment option to join our team.
This is a flexible, part-time – contract opportunity with a streamlined workflow. Our team manages all prescreening, intake, and scheduling through a HIPAA-compliant EMR. Physicians are responsible for reviewing patient records, conducting brief, non-invasive evaluations, and certifying eligible patients.
Position Highlights:
- Flexible scheduling (minimum 3 hours/week)
- Compensation per patient, paid bi-weekly
- Appointments typically ~10 minutes
- In-person requirement (per state regulations)
Requirements:
- Active Alabama medical license (MD or DO)
- Willingness to complete required state cannabis certification training and registration
- Comfort certifying patients for qualifying conditions (e.g., chronic pain, PTSD, cancer, Crohn’s, HIV, anxiety)
- Reliable computer and internet access
