About Us
The Doctor’s Office is an established primary care clinic in Hazel Green, AL, dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate healthcare to patients of all ages- from 1 week old to 100 years. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, independent and patient-centered Nurse Practitioner/Physician to join our team.
Position Overview
The NP/PA will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to a diverse patient population. This includes managing chronic and acute conditions, performing health assessments, developing treatment plans, and educating patients on preventative care. Additionally, the NP/PA will provide care for their own patients as well as assist with acute visits for other providers within the clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and annual wellness exams.
- Accurately document medical history, diagnoses, medications, allergies, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and coordinate care with specialists as needed.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and prescribed treatments.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation and maintain high standards of care.
- Take after-hours on-call phone coverage bi-monthly as part of a shared rotation.
Pay dependent on experience.
