Full Job Description

We’re adding a candidate for CMA Certification or LPN License at Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Center’s Weisgarber location. You’ll handle the day-to-day prep for allergy immunotherapy and support the care team. If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working behind the scenes to help patients, we’d love to meet you.

This position is Monday through Friday (40 hours/week).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare allergen extracts for new patients, refills, and mail-out orders.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of stock vials and ordering immunotherapy supplies.
  • Ship extract to satellite offices via UPS and occasionally deliver in person as needed.
  • Learn and use:
  • Rosch Vaccine Program software
  • eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Support the extract lab manager with day-to-day lab functions and assigned tasks.
  • Assist in the shot room
  • Administer allergy injections
  • Maintain accurate documentation in both Rosch and paper records
  • Communicate with providers regarding patient immunotherapy plans or issues.
  • Adhere to all extract lab and shot room safety and procedural protocols.
  • Prepare materials for skin testing and patch testing.
  • Order immunizations and necessary clinical supplies.
  • Prepare shipments of medications.
  • Maintain active CPR certification and complete required sterility and fingertip testing.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • One of the following is preferred:
  • Certified CMA or Licensed LPN
  • Prior experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is highly desirable
  • Must have excellent attendance, communication skills, and a strong commitment to patient care
  • CPR certification required (or must be obtained shortly after hire)
