Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience for a 13-week assignment in Las Cruces, NM.
Details
- MRI department within an acute care hospital serving adult, geriatric, and pediatric patient populations
- Equipment includes a GE Signa Artist 1.5T MRI scanner
- EMR is Meditech
- Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
- Call requirements include 1-2 days during the week and every third Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the MRI field
- ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT registration required
- AHA certifications required
- Graduate of an approved MRI or radiologic technology program
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
Additional Information
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
- All clinical staff on assignment in New Mexico must be fingerprinted prior to or at the start of the assignment; travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver while awaiting results but must be supervised during that time
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
- Scrubs in any color are accepted
- Upon first day arrival, check in with People Services; employee parking is available on the west side of campus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team is preferred
