Duties
- Perform non-invasive aesthetic procedures including dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, and esthetic laser treatments with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine suitability for various cosmetic interventions, ensuring personalized treatment plans.
- Educate clients on procedure options, post-treatment care, and realistic outcomes to foster informed decision-making.
- Maintain meticulous medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic and Athenahealth, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Manage patient flow efficiently by scheduling appointments, triaging concerns, and coordinating follow-up care.
- Ensure all procedures are performed in a sterile environment following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Stay current with industry advancements by participating in ongoing training, clinical research, and professional development activities related to aesthetic medicine.
Experience
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in aesthetic medicine or related fields preferred.
- Proven experience performing botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser procedures.
- Strong background in medical office settings with familiarity in EMR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth.
