Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Location: Kaiser Permanente TownPark Comprehensive Medical Center 750 TownPark Ln NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144
Position Overview
Kaiser Permanente TownPark Comprehensive Medical Center is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our Advanced Urgent Care team. This is a high-acuity urgent care environment where providers work alongside an Emergency Medicine physician at all times, ensuring collaborative care and no solo coverage.
Coverage Needed
- Weekdays (Monday–Friday):
- 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
- Weekends (Saturday–Sunday):
- 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Shifts will vary and include morning, evening, and mid-overnight blocks.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments in urgent care settings.
- Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests.
- Manage a wide range of acute conditions in collaboration with Emergency Medicine physicians.
- Provide procedural care including:
- Laceration repair
- Incision and drainage
- Foreign body removal
- Deliver patient-centered care efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Licensed NP or PA with active Georgia credentials.
- Proficiency in urgent care procedures (laceration repair, I&D, foreign body removal).
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for team-based care.
- Prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or hospital-based practice strongly preferred.

Pay: $110.00 – $120.00 per hour
