Full Job Description
- Psych APRN-/ PMHNP or PA- Position open immediately in a busy therapy and med management practice in Glastonbury. Schedule can be flexible, employee position with benefits, profit sharing, and bonus offered. Must be interested in working with adults and some adolescents.
- Must have some psychiatric experience.
- Supervision is possible with our Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Possibility of working in an IOP as well. Can work part time or full time. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer injections and perform physical examinations while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Provide health coaching and education to patients, promoting wellness and preventive care.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative healthcare environment.
- Maintain accurate medical records using EHR systems and manage data effectively.
- Stay current with clinical research and best practices in psychiatric mental health nursing.
Qualifications
- Current APRN licensure with BC/BE certification or PA – Physicians Assistant
- Experience in patient care and assessment
- Proficient in medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Familiarity with EHR systems
- Experience in health coaching and care plan development
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $61,652.31 – $180,000.00 per year
