Surgical Physician Assistant (PA-C) / Nurse Practitioner – West Los Angeles, CASchedule: Full-Time or Part-TimeStart Date: ASAP (ideally next month)

Job Summary:A brand-new neurosurgical practice in West Los Angeles is seeking a Surgical PA-C or NP to work directly with an experienced surgeon across both outpatient clinic and inpatient/OR settings. This role offers an excellent work-life balance, light patient volume, and strong mentorship for providers with a passion for surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

• First-assist in the operating room (neurosurgery preferred; all surgical specialties considered)
• Independently manage patients in clinic (pre-op, post-op, and select new visits)
• Round on postoperative inpatients
• Support patient care across outpatient and inpatient environments

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $180,000–$200,000/year (DOE)

Requirements:

• PA-C (NCCPA-certified) or NP with surgical interest
• Active or eligible California license
• New grads welcome; 1–2 years of surgical experience preferred
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to first-assist regularly
• Must live — or be willing to relocate — close to West LA due to heavy traffic

Interview Process:

• 20–30 minute Zoom screening
• In-person meeting with the surgeon

Practice Details:

• Newly established private surgical practice (2 months old)
• One surgeon onsite
• Mixed outpatient + inpatient setting
• Typical schedule: 8 AM – 5 PM, no on-call or weekends
• Light patient volume (ages 25–80)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $180,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
