Candidate Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Clinical Science, Nursing, Medical Science, Physician Assistant Studies, Health Sciences or related field with relevant certifications
- 2+ years experience in medical office or related setting with preferred emphasis in women’s health; fertility experience is a particular plus
- Native or near-native professional fluency in English
- Active and valid license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in California
- Professional written and verbal fluency in other languages, particularly Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and other Chinese dialects strongly valued
- Comfortable working with patients with limited English proficiency, with colleagues available to translate as needed
- Must be available in the Orange County, California area for training and probationary period
About the Position:
Life IVF Center is currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a background in OB/GYN or women’s health to support our Irvine headquarters.
This position has a variety of responsibilities across the organization, including patient consultation, health screening, examinations, women’s health procedures, and interdepartmental and inter-office coordination. This is a fast-paced position that will involve constant patient contact, quick problem solving, and close collaboration with staff across the physician, laboratory, nursing, and administrative departments to provide patients with the highest standard of care.
This position is located at our Irvine headquarters with potential occasional coverage in our Arcadia location.
Previous experience with infertility, third party reproduction is a strong plus. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule:
- Currently seeking a part-time candidate for immediate hire
- Targeting 2-3 days per week, emphases on Mon, Thu-Sat.
- Role is intended to start part-time; full-time roles may be available at later date
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee the intake process for prospective IVF patients, including gathering detailed medical histories and conducting comprehensive women’s health examinations. Act as a positive representative of our practice, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience for new patients.
- Provide thorough initial consultations and follow-up care for patients undergoing IVF protocols. Offer expert guidance and support throughout their treatment journey.
- Assess and evaluate oocyte donors and gestational carriers using established screening and assessment protocols, ensuring suitability and compliance with our high standards.
- Perform specialized women’s health procedures, including pelvic and trans-vaginal ultrasounds and saline infusion sonohysterography (SIS), with precision and care.
- Educate patients on all aspects of IVF treatment, including medication usage and third-party reproductive topics. Empower patients with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their care.
- Ensure that all organizational activities and procedures comply with professional standards and regulatory guidelines. Maintain the highest levels of integrity and quality in all aspects of patient care and clinical practice.
